Delete your Facebook account like this forever

Delete your Facebook account like this forever

If you've been watching the latest news, you've probably heard the news on Facebook. Facebook itself is aware of the issue of teenagers being injured due to its services like Instagram.

Facebook's internal research report also mentions the company's weaknesses in the fight against false information. On Tuesday, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg even commented on it in a post.

If you agree with the ongoing social media controversy, you have the option to delete your social media account permanently. The important thing to understand here is that there is a difference between deleting and deactivating your Facebook account.

Deactivating will temporarily freeze your Facebook account. If you want to stay out of Facebook for a short time, the deactivation option may be useful for you.

But there is no point in trying to stop the company from tracking its online activities. You have no choice but to delete your own account to completely disconnect from Facebook.

When you delete a Facebook account, even your Facebook Messenger connected to it will be closed forever. If you want to separate other Facebook services from Instagram and WhatsApp, you can delete your account separately.

But here are some things to consider before moving on to deleting an account. That requires time and patience.

1. Delete the Facebook app from your phone or tablet

In the first step, delete the Facebook app from your smartphone or tablet. Remember, deleting a Facebook app doesn't mean deleting your Facebook account. You can then login and use your Facebook from a browser or other app. Removing a Facebook icon from your phone's screen only means removing it from your view. But it doesn't make a difference to your overall account. All you have to do is make sure you follow these steps. Even so, Facebook will not stop monitoring your online activities.

2. Choose the option of messaging or social networking

Remember, when you delete your Facebook account, your messenger access will go with it. This means you don't forget to connect with other people through regular apps or messaging services through Messenger.

Apply the same concept to your Facebook friends. Post your status on Facebook a few days before deleting your account permanently.

Request to provide your contact to those who want to stay in touch. Facebook also gives you the option to transfer your photos, videos, notes, and posts to sites like Google Photos and Dropbox.

3. Disconnect your Facebook account from other apps and log in

Third-party developers like Spotify, Dordash give you the option to sign in and log in from your Facebook account for their services. It is also easy because it does not have the hassle of remembering additional passwords.

So if you do not have a Facebook account, you may even lose access to such accounts. So you have to log in to such accounts and separate them one by one from Facebook.

To find a list of apps linked to your Facebook account, you first need to log in to your Facebook. Then go to Apps & Website through Settings.

If you're having trouble figuring out how to separate those apps and services from your Facebook account, contact the company's customer service center for assistance. Once you have done this, follow the steps below to download all the data on your Facebook.

-Login to your Facebook from computer

- Settings to access your Facebook information.

-Click on the view and click on the place where your information is written.

- Check all the boxes under your information.

-Put the data range to All of My Data.

-Live the format set to HTML, so that all your data is saved in an easily navigable format.

To save photos and videos posted on Facebook to high quality, go to Media Quality and adjust them from 'Medium' to 'High'. Finally, click on Create File.

Facebook will then start collecting all your information and will send you an email when it is ready for download. This may take some time. Because it is not an immediate process.

4. Finally delete your Facebook account

Now move on to the last step towards deleting your account. Click here to sign in. Facebook will give you a list of things to do and even remind you of things to consider before deleting an account.

For example, it may be advisable to download all of your information. Or you are the sole admin on a page Maybe, then you can request another account for admin.

Otherwise, such a page will be deleted along with your account. Are you finally ready? If so, click Delete Account and enter your password and click Continue.

Then finally finish the process by clicking Delete Account.

5. Up to 30 days to change your perception of Facebook

Facebook takes up to 0 days to completely delete all your account data from its server. During the first 30 days, you can cancel the request to sign in to your Facebook account and delete the account.

This will restore your account. To cancel a request to delete your account, log in to your Facebook and press the Cancel Delete button.
