'Avatar 2' is the longest film of this year, the audience has to spend almost 4 hours in the hall

The second series of the Hollywood film 'Avatar' directed by James Cameron is preparing to be screened all over the world including Nepal on January 1st.

There is a high expectation among the audience for the film since 13 years. But due to the length of the film, the theater owners have started getting stressed. Due to the length of the film, it is seen that Nepali theaters will also be able to enjoy it.

The average length of the film is 2 or two and a half hours. But the duration of Avatar: The Way of Water will be 3 hours and 14 minutes. That means the hall is occupied for four hours.

When determining the time before the film screening, the break and the exit time after the screening, the audience will have to spend almost 4 hours in the hall. In a way, Avatar 2 will also test the audience's patience.

3 hours and 14 minutes of Avatar means 4 hours of occupying a hall. The audience should spend the same amount of time in the hall. Because keeping the audience for a long time is a challenging task," said Surendra Thapa of INI Multiplex.

If the same film is given four hours, the hall will get fewer shows. Earnings may also be affected. As the run-time increases, the number of shows of the film will decrease.

According to Hollywood Reporter magazine, Avatar 2 will be a long film of 2022.
