Although some of our work is done online, the online system has not been fully implemented in all places. In some offices it works even if we send our documents in PDF format.

However, in most of the cases, the document has to be printed and submitted. Similarly, when going to print a document, we have to share the file.

There is also a fear that the person printing the document will misuse it when sending it via email, WhatsApp, messenger, etc. Apart from that, if we have a printer and it is difficult to print from our computer or laptop or if we cannot send the file to the computer, then we can print out with the help of Android phone or tablet.

Today we are discussing what options are available to print documents directly from a mobile or tablet.

 

1) How to print via Android using USB cable

Under this method, first of all you have to connect the phone to the printer through a USB cable. Most of the printers have USB Type B port support. For that, you can get a USB cable that supports your phone (type C?) and the other side has type B.

2) How to print wirelessly from an Android device

Wireless printing is provided in modern printers. In particular, the Android device can be connected to the printer using Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

In case of Wi-Fi, you have to connect your printer and Android device to the same Wi-Fi network. If you have to connect via Bluetooth, you must first turn on Bluetooth on the printer.

Then you can turn on Bluetooth on your Android device and connect it to the printer. After that, you can print documents directly from various apps or phones.

 

3) How to print via Google Docs

The content in Google Docs, which is available for free, can be easily downloaded. Follow the below procedure for that.

  First, open the Google Docs app on your Android device or download the app by clicking here.

  Then go to the document you are looking for.

  Now tap on the button with three dots next to it.

  Then go to print option.

  After doing this, click on the printer icon.

 

4) From a PDF or document reader

Not only docs, you can also print from your device's PDF or document reader. Follow the procedure given below for that.

  First of all go to the file manager and open the PDF file.

  Then tap on the three dots on the top right.

  Go to share option.

  After doing this, various sharing options are shown. Select the print option from it.

Then connect the device to your printer and print the document. Remember, this style is suitable for PDF, Sheets, Word and Slides.

You can print your documents if they are in these formats.

 

3) How to print from Google Chrome

Follow the below procedure to print document through Google Chrome on Android device.

  First, open the webpage you want to print in Chrome. (PDF, Word and other documents can be opened in Chrome.)

  Then click on the three dots on the top right.

  And go to share option.

  After doing this, go to the print option at the bottom and tap on the printer option and print.

5) Print from Gmail like this

You can also print emails directly from your Android device in Gmail. Follow the below procedure for that.

  First, select the email you want to print in Gmail.

  Then tap on the three dots on the top right.

  After doing this go to the print option and select your printer and print the document.

 

6) How to print from Google Photos

You can also print documents and photos with the help of Google Photos. Follow the following procedure for that.

  First, open the Photos app on your Android device.

  Then select the photo you want to print.

  After doing this, you can go to the share option and select the print option to print the photo.

  However, if you want to print in another way, after selecting the photo, move the photo up.

  And if you move options like 'Add to album', 'Move to archive' to the left, you will see the print option.

  The photo can also be printed by tapping on the print option.
