Didn't find the answer you were looking for in ChatGPT? Do this
ChatGPT is an AI tool that has been released worldwide. This tool has made many tasks simple and easy for many. It can be used to summarize any article, draft a plan, write a poem/story, make a picture. But if you still don't get the answer you want, you can try the following methods:
Communicate with AI as if it were a person
You don't need to program to work with ChatGPT. Talk to it like you would normally talk to others. You can name it yourself. You can talk as a friend or colleague. Talking like this will not make you uncomfortable. And you might feel like you're talking to a knowledgeable friend, not an AI.
By doing this, the AI may not understand you at first. You need to provide more information. Then you can ask complex questions based on the information given and the answers given by the AI.
This type of conversation is also called 'interactive prompting'. Don't hesitate to ask questions to the AI in several steps. Repeatedly asking the same question many times can get the result you think.
Give sufficient details by making references
Don't think that a prompt to ChatGPT is just one sentence. The more information and details you provide with references, the better the answer you can get.
While doing this, write several sentences and ask questions at once. Because the context you think may be different, what the AI thinks may be different. But if you mention the context you are thinking about and ask a related question, you can definitely get the answer you want.
Give AI a personality
We talked about naming the AI and giving enough context/information in the above paragraphs. Now give the AI a personality. It can be written from the point of view of any person or profession. For example, when ChatGPT is made a doctor, it can write from a doctor's point of view. Sometimes even simple changes to your typing prompt can make a big difference in the results the AI gives.
Keeping AI on track
ChatGPT can sometimes talk off topic while answering. In that case, you can ask a follow-up question to get the AI back on topic. Let's say the answer you wanted was different. But if the AI gives a wrong answer, you can ask questions like 'Why do you think that?' or 'Is that it?'
Remember that even when you and a friend are in a discussion, you can go beyond what was said before. And someone may say, 'What was the previous thing?' Similarly, AI should also be brought back to the subject. Or you can ask them to read the prompt again.
Here are some more tips on prompts in a nutshell:
Don't stop asking questions again. Because the AI can often give a different answer every time it is asked.
Make small changes to your question to get a better answer.
ChatGPT remembers previous conversations as long as the conversation page remains open. But when you leave that page, AI forgets all those conversations. Sometimes ChatGPT can drop conversation threads.
In some cases, giving answers longer than 500 words can confuse the AI. So, determine how long you need the answer.
If you think the answer given by AI is wrong, you can clarify and correct it.
If ChatGPT doesn't want to answer your question, ask again. (Questions as per Community Guidelines only)
If you want to cite sources in your article, ask ChatGPT to verify the answer.
