Can two people talk to each other in a dream? This is what scientists say
Have you ever dreamed of talking to someone? Would you believe what you do in your dream happens in reality?
Californian scientists have brought it closer to reality. They put two people in a lucid dream state for this. This is the state where a person realizes that he is dreaming.
Especially at such a time, a person can control his dreams. A lucid dream is when you are aware of everything that is happening outside while you are asleep. The technology designed by REMSpace, a startup company located in California, has strengthened the state of sleep and lucid dreaming.
At the same time, the selected person was put on probation. It is claimed that they managed to communicate with each other in their dreams. According to the international media Dailymail, this test was conducted on September 24.
During that, the participants lay down on the bed. Then a special type of device was attached to their brain which tracked their brain activity. Apart from that, the technology also tracked other data related to sleep. The device was connected to a central system called REMSpace. From there, all conditions were being regulated in real time.
Eight minutes later, the second participant entered a lucid dream. The server transmitted the stored message from the first participant to her, which she repeated upon awakening

The experiment began with a person entering a lucid dream. The system detected brain activity during lucid dreaming, and a word from a strange language called 'Remyo' was slowly spoken to the first participant through a device worn in the ear.
In the dream, another participant heard the word 'Jhilak' and pronounced it out loud. His voice was recorded by the sensors and the voice was saved in the system. This was the first stage of communication where a message was sent from one dreamer to another dreamer.
Once the server detected that one participant had entered a lucid dream, it generated a random word and transmitted it to him via earbuds.

Eight minutes later, another person entered the lucid dream. The system then recognized that he was in a lucid dream and sent the word 'Jhilak' to the person's ears through the earbuds. She heard the word and repeated it. Of course, she received the message that was sent to her.
Two study participants slept in their homes while their brain waves were remotely tracked by the apparatus, which fed data into the server.

When the second person woke up, she confirmed that she had heard the words in her dream. With this, the test that two people can communicate even in dreams was successful.
It is said that special equipment such as servers, WiFi and sensors were used in this test. Apart from that, what other techniques were used has not been disclosed. Scientists other than the related scientists have not been able to analyze this test. However, in terms of its acceptance by other scientists, it will be considered a great achievement in 'sleep research'. It is said that this will facilitate the treatment of mental health.
Michael Raduga, Chief Executive Officer of IMSpace, said, “Yesterday, talking in dreams was like science fiction. Tomorrow it will be normal. And we will not be able to imagine life without technology. It has opened up many possibilities for commercial purposes. And it changed the way we thought about communication in our dream world.”
