Google has stated that online casino or gambling apps for sports betting are not subject to its rules.

Within a few hours of the removal of the Paytm app from the Play Store, the app became available again. The app was re-launched after the company fixed the issue on Google's terms.
The Indian Premier League (IPL) is starting today. Paytm is one of the sponsors of IPL.
An online casino and sports betting app are being launched for the IPL.
