Apple has introduced the iOS 26 update. The update, which is a total of 13.22 GB, was released on Monday. This update mainly includes seven features:

1. Liquid Glass

Apple has made the visual elements of the Liquid Glass user interface (UI) different. This new design can be clearly seen in app icons, control toggles, navigation bar and widgets. Users can do more customization.

2. Apple Games

For gamers, Apple has introduced Apple Games as a gaming app. These games will be linked to the Apple account. You can also get live events and updates of the games you are playing.

3. Photos app

In iOS 18, which came out last year, Apple introduced a revamped Photos app. Using which, you could see a comprehensive view of stored photos and videos. However, it has been improved in iOS 26, saying that it has annoyed users. Apple has stated that now the library and collection can be easily switched. Users can pin and use the Photos app in three different display sizes.

4. New Camera App

With iOS 26, Apple has brought a simple design experience in photo and video modes. Camera controls have been integrated. Due to which users can easily use features including aspect ratio, night mode, flash switch.

5. Call Screen and Hold Assist

Apple has brought the call screening feature to the iPhone, influenced by Google. Information about the caller can be obtained from live voicemail. Then the user can decide whether to pick up the phone or not.

6. Phone App

Apple has also brought the Phone app with a new update. Now Favorites, Recents and Voicemail have been laid out in a new 'Calls' tab. The user has been given the right to choose. You can switch back to the classic view at any time, as it is now.

7. Live Translation and Other Apple Intelligence Changes

Apple has added a live translation AI feature to its intelligence. This feature can now be used in FaceTime, Messages, and the Phone app. Live translation can be done in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Chinese, and other languages.
