These platforms are charging users huge amounts of money on the pretext of purchasing coins and credits. In this process, Nepali users are putting their hard-earned money, email details and confidential debit card data at risk.

This is not just a matter of entertainment, but has become a new form of organized cyber fraud. In the context of huge amounts being spent even for popular AI services like Gemini, ChatGPT, and Grok, the financial exploitation done by illegal AI apps is even more frightening.

It seems inevitable to take some concrete steps to solve this problem and organize the digital market. In the first phase, all AI sex apps and sites that produce sexual content that are operating for the purpose of running a fraud business should be completely banned in Nepal.

To make regulation effective, it is appropriate to introduce the concept of a single-door system. To make regulation and monitoring easier, official AI companies or apps recognized by the Government of Nepal should be allowed to operate for sexual content in a limited and controlled manner.

The most important aspect is the safety of children. To verify the age of the AI ​​user, it should be mandatory to link it to the national identity card. By doing this, access by children under the age of 18 can be completely blocked. In addition, if the service is provided to youth above the age of 18 at an affordable or minimal fee, the looting in the name of credits and coins will automatically end.

It is the responsibility of the state to protect digital security and the privacy of citizens.
