Now take a break from unnecessary emails, use this new feature of Gmail
Nowadays, most of the digital platforms or websites provide the facility of 'sign-up' directly through Gmail account. While signing up in this way, the platform uses details such as name, email address and profile picture in the Google account according to the user's permission.
Some sites may take other additional details depending on the nature of the service. In this way, the signed-up platforms regularly send their updates or information to the users through email. In some cases, we ourselves have subscribed to various newsletters or sites to get information. However, over time, those platforms may become irrelevant to us and the countless emails they send may become cumbersome. There is a fear of missing important emails due to such emails.
Keeping this in mind, Google has added the feature of 'Manage Subscription' to Gmail. Under this feature, you can see the list of all the platforms you are subscribed to in one place. With its help, you can 'unsubscribe' from platforms that you don't need or find troublesome in a moment.
How to use Manage Subscription feature?
First, open the Gmail app on your phone.
Then tap on the menu bar with three lines on the top right.
And select the option of 'Manage Subscriptions'.
There you will see the name of the platform that is sending you the email.
Tap the mail icon to the left of the name of the platform you don't need.
And finally, tap the unsubscribe button.
By doing this, the platform is unsubscribed at once. This new feature has removed the hassle of finding a platform that sends you unwanted emails and unsubscribing separately.
