The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Oppo has launched the Find X8 series in the global market. The company launched the X8 series by organizing an event in Bali, the capital of Indonesia, on Thursday.
The company has launched X8 and X8 Pro under Find X8 series. The X8 has a 6.59-inch LTPO OLED display, and it has a feature that can be adjusted from 1 to 120 Hz refresh rate. This avoids unnecessary battery consumption. And, the charge lasts for a long time. Similarly, the Pro model has a 6.78-inch display and a 5,910 mAh battery.
It includes a MediaTek Dimension 9400 SoC chipset. In terms of media tech chipset, this is the most powerful chipset so far. This phone runs on ColorOS 15 based on Android 15.
This series has a premium glass metal sandwich design. Bezels are also slightly curved. The X8 model has a screen with a wide panel like the iPhone 16, while the X9 Pro has a 4D curved display. In other words, the X8 Pro has a better display than the iPhone 16 series.
Its refresh rate is 120 Hz and a fingerprint sensor is provided in the display. Only the iPhone 16 Pro model has a 120Hz refresh rate display. Apple has named it Pro Motion Display.
The interesting aspect of the X8 series is that it also has a camera button similar to the iPhone 16. The company has named it Quick Button. This button can be used to open the camera app, zoom in and zoom out, focus.
Some of the smartphones available in the market have only two telephoto lenses. X8 Pro is also included in the list of those smartphones. It has a 3X and another 6X telephoto lens. It has two periscope camera systems.
It also includes a triple prism fold reflection system. The Find X8 has three 50-megapixel cameras, while the X8 Pro has four 50-megapixel cameras. This series also has a feature called 'Shadowless Snapshot'. With its help, clear, blurred photos can be taken. There is no need to run additional settings for that.
The company has also included various AI features to enhance the photos. It also includes features like visual lookup and Google Lens on the iPhone. This means that if you take some photos on your phone and want to know what the subject is, you can use the AI feature.
This series supports 80 watt wired and 50 watt wireless charging. It has IP68 and IP69 ratings to protect against water and dust. The X8 series supports the Mag accessory of Oppo. However, for that, you have to buy a special type of separate cover.
Its accessories include a 20,000 mAh power bank with a capacity of 80 watts. It can work as a 50-watt wireless charger, while a fan is also included to cool it down when it gets hot.
X8 can be purchased in 12 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage and 16 GB RAM and 256 GB storage variants. Similarly, X8 Pro can be found in 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage variants. The starting price of the base variant is 878 dollars (about one lakh 18 thousand rupees).
The Pro model is set at $1,225 (about one lakh 65 thousand rupees). It is said that this phone will be available in the Asian market soon.
