Employees of Microsoft will be able to work from home permanently

Due to the coronavirus epidemic, many of the world's largest companies are giving their employees the facility to work from home without coming to the office.

In the world of the internet, you don't have to go to the office to do a lot of technology work and you can do it virtually from home. Companies such as Google, Facebook, and Microsoft are still offering their employees the opportunity to work from home so that employees are not at risk of infection and even performance is not affected. This work-from-home policy is likely to continue until the epidemic returns to normal.

But Microsoft has said that even after the situation returns to normal, its employees will be able to work permanently from wherever they want or from home. According to Microsoft, after the manager's approval, employees will have the option to work from home permanently.

Earlier, Facebook and Twitter had indicated that the facility to work from home would be made available forever in the future. In May, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg projected that half of the company's employees would be able to work outside the home for the next five to 10 years.

As most of the employees work from home, the space used for office has become more for most of the companies. Due to which they are preparing to reduce the area used for the office.

In a message sent to its employees, Microsoft said that employees working in the field of hardware, including data center management, will have to go to work, but many other employees will continue to work from home. Employees who do not want to take up permanent 'work from home' will be able to come to the office part-time and even work part-time from home. And, in doing so, the approval of the governor is not required. This method is called a 'hybrid model'.

Talking about the new guidelines, a Microsoft spokesperson said that the company has been adopting its strategy based on the suggestions of the employees, adding that the company will facilitate the personal work structure and business needs of the employees.

Currently, Microsoft has 166,000 employees.
