Walmart delivering Corona test kit to a person's home from drone!

US multinational retail corporation Walmart has introduced a new technology for the distribution of Covid-19 kits.

Walmart plans to distribute Covid-Kit by drone to residents of the northern region of Las Vegas, USA.

Walmart announced a "pilot drone delivery program" on Tuesday.

According to CNN, the pilot drone launched the service for people living alone within a mile radius of a store in the northern part of Las Vegas. However, the service will not be possible in rainy weather.

Walmart has launched this program in collaboration with DroneUp and Quest Diagnostics. Drone Up will prepare the message for the service recipients while Quest Diagnostics will provide the material for distribution.

There is a place where content can be delivered in less than five minutes and Walmart will provide the service for free, according to its blog.

After receiving their test kit, any client can send a swab sample to Quest Lab for testing via FedEx. The test results of the service recipients are informed through the digital method within 2 days.

Thus, it is said that it is possible for a person's corona test not to come in contact with each other.

"We hope this service will support contactless corona testing and further advance Walmart's technical development in the future," wrote Tom Ward, Walmart's senior vice president of consumer products, in a Walmart blog.

Walmart's 'Covid-19 Pilot Drone Delivery Program' is a test program for the company.
