The partnership between TikTok and Open Slate to provide brand protection to advertisers


TikTok's video level brand Safety Solutions will now provide advertisers with greater trust and transparency when working with third parties.


Tiktak has ensured that every ad brand is delivered in a safe environment by applying for the Open Slate Rating Pre-Campaign. Video level reporting will also be shared to confirm the results.




Over the past eight years, Open Slate has used its brand safety and content rating in millions of videos. OpenSlate's rating is also believed by the world's largest advertisers.


Melissa Yang, head of TikTok's Ecosystem Partnership, says that OpenSlate gives trust and transparency to whether advertisers are coming up with good content when selecting Tiktak's platform for advertising.



OpenSlate has been measuring and scoring more than 750 million videos on Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok.



OpenSlate uses the company's new data science and independent content ratings to determine the quality of content, safety, relevance, and content to determine where to run those ads. The company's content rating is used in 50 international markets around the world.
