new feature of Chrome that can be reset instantly when a password is hacked

This is a new feature of Chrome that can be reset instantly when a password is hacked

Do you have a Google Chrome web browser on your smartphone? If so, Chrome will now notify you if your password has been hacked. Chrome's feature was previously only available on computers.

According to Google, the feature will now be available on Apple's iPhone and smartphones running the Android operating system.

This feature accesses the user's username and password on Google's servers and checks for compromises by comparing them to a list of broken data.

But Google itself cannot see your password and username. It checks to see if the data has been compromised.

As soon as Chrome 86 goes public, you need to store your password in Chrome to use Google's password check feature.

The idea is already available in web browsers such as Third-Party Password Manager One Password and Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, and Microsoft Edge.

But Chrome dominates the browser market. Browsers such as Brave, Samsung Internet, Opera, and Vivalda have Google's open-source Chromium browser engine.

So Google's influence is now all over the web. But tensions between Google Browser and Apple's priorities have led to tensions between the entire technology industry and developers.
