In this regard, Nepal is in a satisfactory position in terms of upload speed and latency compared to download speed. Last August, Nepal was ranked 111th in terms of mobile data speed.


Neighboring countries Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and India are ranked 102nd, 116th, and 131st respectively in Okla's list. China ranks second in the world in mobile data speeds.



China's average download speed is 113.35 Mbps, upload speed is 26.08 Mbps and latency is 32 milliseconds.



South Korea has managed to be number one in the world in mobile data speed with 121 Mbps. South Korea has an average upload speed of 18.81 and a latency of 34 milliseconds.


Speaking of broadband internet, Nepal is ranked 112th out of 175 countries. According to Okla, the average download speed of fixed broadband in Nepal is 22.36 Mbps, upload speed is 20.41 Mbps and latency is 16 milliseconds.


Compared to August, Nepal improved two places in September and rose to 113th place in fixed broadband. With a broadband speed of 226.60 Mbps, Singapore ranks first in the world.


Hong Kong is second with 210.73 Mbps, Romania is third with 193.47 Mbps, Switzerland is fourth with 178.81 Mbps and Thailand is fifth with 175.22 Mbps.
